Naomi turns 1!

Ove the weekend the Camp family came out to Crissy Field for a fun family photo shoot! And since their littlest one just turned 1, we had some fun at the end of the shoot with a tutu, some amazing cake, and even a few tears. Nobody said it was easy getting older! LOL

Rina & Michael in the Headlands

Yesterday Rina & Michael and I explored the Marin Headlands for their engagement photo session. Rina loves fields and nature and we found some beautiful spots for the photos. They will be getting married in wine country and September and I cannot wait! I know it will be an absolutely beautiful day, and the engagement photos are just the start. Congratulations Rina & Michael!

A beautiful day and big smiles from Max

Last weekend I went to Baker Beach on an absolutely perfect beautiful day to do a photo shoot for Lorena & Juan and their son Max, we were the photographers for Lorena & Juan’s wedding years ago and it was fun catching up with them and their little boy! Max was the biggest flirt all day long, his smile made me laugh, and made my job very easy! He most definitely gave me my baby fix for the day, and was of course the perfect model in front of the camera :)

Christensen Family

Grandma and auntie came in from out of town to join in on Sienna’s very first photo session and Sienna was very serious about her modeling skills during the entire shoot. There isn’t a cuter serious face out there.

The most amazing wedding ever (really!)

A couple of weeks ago I had the please of shooting Christina & Ephraim’s Tahoe wedding at the Chalet View Lodge in Greagle. I have know Christina for close to 10 years, and it was such an honor to be able to shoot her and Ephraim’s wedding. I have been shooting weddings for a long (looong!) time, and I have to say, this was the most amazing wedding I have been to. Not only were the bride and groom looking spectacular, but there were so many out of this world elements to this weekend that I lost track! The events started with the rehearsal pizza dinner friday night. The venue was just amazing, in the mountains near Tahoe, with such a great outdoor feel and perfect weather. The party got started Friday night with the lodge doing a pizza buffet from their wood fired pizza oven. It then moved over to the dance floor where a fantastic band played till the wee hours and guest got to jump behind the classic airstream trailer that was set up as the bar to try their hand at bar tending! Then the big day arrived, with a couple guests making a pretty grand entrance by skydiving in, and another friend flying over head in his trick plane. Pretty good way to start the day :) The girls look gorgeous  as I photographed them, the flowers were perfect and Christina’s dress was stunning, as was the bride! And of course the guys were looking pretty cool as well :) The ceremony was on the beautiful little lake the venue has, with the bride and groom standing on a dock in the center of the lake. The ceremony was so touching and emotional, with a fire lighting, and a traditional Native American blessing. And the vows brought everybody to tears. After the ceremony I was able to take some of my favorite wedding photos, including in a great red canoe on the lake. Then on to the party! And what a party it was :) There was a photo booth, lounges, another fire ceremony at the lake, an amazing band, a late night bicycle man with it’s it ice cream bars, and a teepee (yes, a teepee!) They even had an after hours white party, where everybody got changed into their most fabulous white outfits they could come up with. Quality Event Design helped put together this most spectacular event. It really was the wedding of the century. Congratulations Christina and Ephraim!!!

The Winther family back in San Francisco!

I first met this fun family when they came to San Francisco on vacation 2 years ago, and we did a family shoot at Crissy Field. I was thrilled to get a call that they were heading back to San Francisco, and when the kids were asked what they wanted to do on their trip they said another photo shoot! So we met up at Baker Beach, for a beautiful summer day (which in san francisco of course means foggy and windy! LOL) But we had a great time and I love how the photos turned out. Next shoot in Mexico, right guys?? :)

Dan & Nicole and her growing belly bump!

A couple weeks ago I met up with Dan & Nicole to take some pregnancy photos. I was fortunate enough to shoot their beautiful wedding in Sayulita Mexico, and love that we will be able to continue working together and document the next big step in their lives! Can’t wait to meet the little one when she arrives!

Hillary rocks the beach!

I got to do one last beach boudoir shoot in Sayulita Mexico before heading back to the states for the summer, and it was a good one! Hillary was fantastic in front of the camera (even with the heat and all those damn bugs! lol) and we had a great time. She rocked the sexiness!
